I went to Maui for a wedding and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to shoot fashion in paradise... So I grabbed island princess, Kela (@kkrose99), and we played in the waves to capture a few golden sunset photos...

This is one of my largest sets but I honestly could not narrow it down. Meet Ally Rubbo, part-time model and part-time DP. We shot together in late October, right after she moved to Los Angeles... And I got to show her the sights! We had SUCH a great time shooting together and I'm excited to share these pictures.
What better way is there to spend a beautiful morning in Malibu than shooting one of my favorite girls, Allison, in a beautiful apartment right off PCH?? Gorgeous sunlight, clean sheets, and photo shoots make for a good start to any day.
Kela (@kkrose99) and Tati (@tringsby) took me to Paia while I was in Maui, Hawaii, and they showed me around the colorful town. From borrowing pineapples and stealing flowers to picking up hitchhikers in Kela's old blue mustang, these two best friends made the evening unforgettable!
I got the opportunity to collaborate with blogger and stylist Officially Quigley a few months ago... How am I just now getting around to posting these amazing shots on my website?!
While in Australia for the first 3 weeks of November 2016, I was lucky enough to meet up with Hannah from Que Models (Brisbane) and IMG (Sydney). We met in a park in Gold Coast and spent an hour or two wandering up-and-down the riverfront, shooting together. I couldn't be happier with how this shoot turned out! Hannah is seriously STUNNING.
I tagged along with the talented Matty Tae and Noel Alva while shooting on some cliffs in Sydney, Australia... Our model was the stunning Nevena and we had so much fun! I can't wait to shoot with this team of artists again as soon as possible.
In Brisbane, Australia, I go the chance to shoot with the stunning Erin. She came to the Airbnb where I was staying and we laid out by the pool. She was wearing beautiful Ohana swimsuits... Now I want some Ohana suits of my own!
The beautiful Shannon came to California and let me shoot her... So she threw on her bathing suit and we played on the beach together.
This was by far one of my favorite shoots. The stunning Katya and I met at a good friend of mine's house with a 70's Playboy-esque concept in mind... Every time I work with Katya, she embodies the look perfectly, molding herself to her look. Wearing an awesome lemon bralette she found on a trip to Italy and a pair of faux-vintage glasses from Urban Outfitters, we shot in the hot afternoon sun and got some killer images.
Let me set the scene for you...
A slightly overcast but still warm September afternoon along the beautiful Palos Verdes coast of California. Alex, a 6'1" beautiful blogger who socially goes by "Chief Wolfblood" and who is half of the brains behind the awesome Gypsy Shack Blog, met me with an impressive array of Cleobella clothes, some gorgeous chokers and necklaces designed by Natalie B Jewelry, and shoes from designers like Lina and Jeffery Campbell. We shot so many beautiful looks that day... Here's just a peek into our afternoon together...
I took my mini muse, Amanda, out to play for the first time since getting back from two months in Mexico... I'm so happy with what we got!
During Sydnie's first week in Los Angeles, I took her to one of the first places I went when I moved to LA... The Griffith Observatory.
Jamie Paige is one of my favorite people on the planet. We met through Twitter (#internetfriends) in May 2015 through some tweets about EDC Las Vegas and we really hit it off. She had just moved to California to pursue modeling and after the first time we shot together, the rest was history. Standing at 6ft tall, Jamie is a girl to remember because I can see her making some serious moves in the modeling world. Her killer bodysuit was her mama's from the 80's and this girl rocked it. Shooting with JP is always so fun... Enjoy!
"But death can't be the final word, can it? I mean, look at this fire: The wood that we threw on it has been decimated, or so it seems, but in reality, the wood has been transformed into gasses and ashes. I think about that, you know, about how nothing is ever destroyed, but only changes form." // I got to work with the most amazing team for this project. First and foremost, I got to work with Payten Silva, the amazing model as well as the makeup artist behind this project - you can see her work on her Instagram or on her YouTube channel. Our hair stylist was he talented Shanel Aujla, and the shoot is featuring an amazing skirt from an Etsy shop, Dark Pony Designs. Thank you to everyone who made this shoot unforgettable!
Seriously, Kat is one of the nicest models I have ever worked with - and every frame was better than the last! We snuck on to some tennis courts to get this killer shots.
"Something wicked this way comes..."
The best possible way for me to kick-off October this year was this witchy shoot with stylist-and-blogger, Lil Bambi. You may recognize Bambz from some of my other shoots - do you remember "Shades of Pink", "Lil Bambi", and "Teenage Runaway"? Featuring a top by Nasty Gal and a skirt by Princess Polly Boutique, this shoot in Griffith Park was a fun themed shoot, the perfect balance of wearable fashion and spoopy sass.
The perfect look for summer nights with fashion blogger Kirsten Kaye.
Gypsy Warrior Top, PYLO Bell-Bottom Jeans, Bandana Bolo by 2 Bandits, uniJuxta Sunglasses.
Beautiful bridges, golden sunsets, then ice cream and donuts? Driving out to meet this beautiful girl under the Foresthill Bridge was definitely worth it!
In the middle of October, the temperature in Malibu was still averaging mid-70's... So when Kinsey of Peak Models and I were getting ready for our shoot together, we grabbed sweaters and bikinis then hit the sand!
The first weekend of Coachella 2016 was just a few days a way so the beautiful Ashley Gibson and I grabbed some festival-ready clothes from Goldie's and cranked up the tunes, getting in the zone for the start of festival season...
A cool, cloudy afternoon in the Santa Cruz Mountains, I got to meet Brooke Landaiche. This smart, athletic UCLA-hopeful (who packs some killer abs) recently signed with HMM Halvorson Model Management and had been dreaming of shooting an "athletic" session... So with Nike shoes, LuLu Lemon pants, and sports bras from Calvin Klein and O'Neill Women in hand, we hiked around a Christmas tree farm on a fun, sporty shoot... Here's what we got!
We woke up at 4 in the morning to make sure we didn't miss the perfectly misty morning in Point Reyes... I'm so happy Amanda Wooning and I got to explore the Northern California coast together.
The minute Ally and I stepped onto the sand, she was bounding down to the water's edge and sticking her toes in... Despite it still being the middle of February, she stripped down to play in the shallow waves. We even had a passerby stop and ask if she was posing for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition!
In late March, I got the opportunity to shoot with the amazing fashion blogger Kirsten Kaye (see her blog [here] and her Instagram [here] ). We met in hot Calabasas, California and then headed off to windy Malibu in search of the perfect locations... Here's some shots from the first look!
I spent the day in San Francisco with the beautiful Charlize Estebez of Look Models SF.

The first look featuring Katy Kinnon for Norwegian Wood's new line of leggings.
On October 19th, I woke up before the sun and drove into Hollywood to meet Emily of Numa Models on her last morning in Los Angeles. Just the night before, I got the privilege to watch her walk with her fellow Numa models in LA Fashion Week. It was an amazing experience, and getting to hear what the event was like from a model's perspective just made it so much better. I can't wait to work with her again.
My baby lives in shades of... pink?
I've been humming "Shades of Cool" by Lana del Rey while editing this cotton candy look of fashion blogger Lil Bambi so I thought it would appropriate to give the song a nod in the name.
Isabella Rose Taylor has the world at her fingertips. She's 15 years old - but if she didn't tell you that, you'd never know. She's an up-and-coming fashion designer whose namesake fashion line has been sold in Nordstroms since she was 12. In 2014, Bella even had her own show during New York Fashion Week. She's incredibly smart, finishing high school at just 11 years old, and - most importantly - she's one of the sweetest girls I've ever had the privilege to work with.
We met at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles on an overcast October morning. As we wandered around, I took a #BunDrop video of her incredible hair - and it sort-of went viral! Less than 10 hours after posting it, the video had been viewed over 20,000 times, racking up over 1,000 likes!! I couldn't have asked for a better first-shoot with this girl. I honestly cannot wait to work with her again.
I recently got to meet up with fellow Instagrammer and long-time internet friend, Kaylee, in San Diego... And this girl's heart is absolutely incredible! I was so excited to meet her and yet she still blew my expectations away. We ended up barely shooting, opting to sit in a coffee shop instead and talk about life. I can truly say that I can't wait to get to spend more time with her.
Cece and I ran away to La Jolla to show off her super cute new swimsuit from OWL...
The Monday after Christmas, while the rest of the world was either still celebrating or still in a food-coma from the holiday festivities, Zoe and I hopped in my car, blasted G-Eazy's "When It's Dark Out" album and headed into San Francisco to try out the cutest little studio space. This naturally-fit model and LSU freshman (eaux Tigers!) is a friend of mine from high school and was a joy to work with. Here are some of the photos of this beauty...
(P.S. Check out her 100% natural hair! That red and those highlights and lowlights? I am so jealous!)
